Nite at the Ball Park with the Storm Chasers & Christmas in July Auction by Manheim Steamroller  

Enjoy a ballgame, fireworks and support Moving Vets Forward (Ron Hernandez, one of our CCC members), who was chosen for this year’s non-profit recipient for the auction proceeds.  Limited tickets available - $10 each! 
Final payment is due by July 20th (you can pay at the CCC mtg).  After that date, you'll need to purchase tickets there & seating may not be in the same area.

Fundraiser for Pediatric Cancer Action at Kuck Motorsports in Lincoln, NE on July 22

But please attend even if your not pre-registered... all Corvettes are welcome!!!

Guest Speaker - The Latest from Bowling Green
Joe Macrino, Personnel Director at the Bowling Green Assembly Plant is doing a presentation. It’s scheduled for Wednesday, August 2nd at 7pm. The presentation will be at Metropolitan Community College’s new Center for Advanced and Emerging Technology at the Fort Omaha Campus (5300 North 30th Street). Joe’s presentation is expected to last 30 minutes followed by Q&A. Also, Joe will be bringing a new Corvette with him. You need to bring your own chairs as NO CHAIRS will be provided.

The presentation is free, compliments of Midwest Early Corvette Club.  No pre-registration is required. Just show up and enjoy. This is a unique opportunity for us and we hope to see you there.

             Summer Festival Update - The Car Show and Dinner planned for Friday was to be hosted by Huber
Chevrolet.  They are not going to be able to do that now, so Summer Festival Director Gene Gau
has been able to secure another location.  The Car Show and Dinner will be held on Saturday      
evening at Regency Clubhouse.  Thanks to Gene and Dave Ferguson for finding another location
on such short notice.  Dinner and drinks will be free to members.                                                       

* Please Remember the Less Fortunate. At the Monthly Meeting - Jerry Koraleski is collecting non perishable food items for Stevens Center.  Kathy Brisbois is collecting toiletry items for MOHMS Place homeless shelter in Council Bluffs.

  • Tuesday nights, ongoing thru?? – Car show at Smitty’s Garage (CCC Contributor):  7610 Dodge St:  Starts at 5pm, bring your “sweet rides” from 5-10pm and get 10% off food & they’ll have awesome drink specials & great burgers.
  • Friday nights, Starts April 21st thru October 27th – Car show at Don & Millie’s:  144th & Harrison:  Anytime after 5pm & driving a show car will get you up to two ½ price meal tickets
  • 4th Friday of each month – May thru August – Cruz Nite at We’ll Smoke U BBQ:  11773 S HWY 6, Gretna, NE
